Application:
It is suitable for checking the maximum force required to pull the plug out of the socket and the single pole pin pulled out from the socket assembly. Whether the minimum force required is within the range specified by the standard.
Parameter:
1. Standard one-pole 10A, three-pole 10A and 16A test standard
plugs each, 10A 16A test standard plugs each, adjustable:
1) Round plug with 2-pole dual socket, the bolt diameter is 4.8
2) The round plug of the 2-pole dual-purpose socket, the bolt
diameter is 4.0
3) Round plug (unipolar), the bolt diameter is 4.8

Usage:
1. The test plug with the maximum size pins is inserted into and
withdrawn from the socket
outlet ten times. It is then inserted again, a carrier E for a
principal mass and a
supplementary mass G being attached to it by means of a suitable
clamp D. The
supplementary mass is such that it exerts a force equal to
one-tenth of the maximum
withdrawal force shown in Table 16.
2. The principal mass, together with the supplementary mass, the
clamp, the carrier and the
plug exert a force equal to the maximum withdrawal force shown in
Table 16.
3. The principal mass is hung on the plug without jolting and the
supplementary mass is, if
necessary, allowed to fall from a height of 50 mm onto the
principal mass.

Device for checking the resistance to lateral strain
It can checking the resistance to lateral strain, confirms to IEC60884 Figure 13.
Figure 13 Testing:
1. Each specimen is mounted on a vertical surface with the plane
through the socket-contacts
horizontal. The device is then fully engaged and a weight hung on
it such that the force exerted is 5N.
2. The device is removed after 1 min and the socket-outlet turned
through 90 degree on the mounting
surface. The test is made four times, the socket-outlet being
turned through 90 degree after each engagement.
3. During the test the device shall not become disengaged from the
socket-outlet.
4. After the tests, the socket-outlets shall show no damage within
the meaning of this standard; in
particular, they shall comply with the requirements of clause 22
Standards:
This device complies with the requirements of
IEC60884 Figure 18/19,
VDE0620, etc.
